I'm Gus.  Life started rough for me. I was found in a parking lot, scared and alone, with my sight stolen by an infection. I was pretty wary of people, scared they might hurt me, but also just scared of the big world that I couldn’t see. But then, something incredible happened. When a caretaker came and picked me up, I did something I hadn't done in a long time,I showed trust. I buried my head into their stomach, looking for some safety and a bit of love. It was a big moment for me, showing that I still believed in the goodness of others, despite everything. I've got a lot of heart, and even though life's thrown some curveballs my way, I keep on purring. Now I'm here at the sanctuary, getting the care I need, and I've made a best friend, too, Eleanore. She's missing a couple of legs, but together, we're quite the team. I'm on the lookout for someone who'd like to sponsor me. It would mean the world to this blind guy to know there's someone out there who wants me to be their sponsor kitty. Being your sponsor kitty would be a bright spot in my life, a real connection to someone who believes in second chances.
