I've been through quite the journey. I was found in a woman’s yard as an extremely sick kitty. When I first arrived at the sanctuary, I was a scared and sickly boy. The caretakers knew I was FIV positive, but little did they know the extent of the challenges I was facing. During the routine testing, they discovered that I had a laundry list of health issues. My liver was causing trouble, I have heart disease, I was dealing with anemia, and I was infested with pesky lice. To top it off, I was severely underweight and suffering from stomatitis. It was a lot to handle. The caretakers made sure that I received the care and attention I desperately needed. I visited several veterinarians and specialists to get everything under control. I even had surgery to remove my rotten teeth and help with the stomatitis. It was tough, but I was a trooper through it all. The good news is, things started to look up. My liver values normalized, I gained some much-needed weight (maybe a little too much, according to the caretakers), and I finally overcame the anemia that had been plaguing me. Today, I'm a happy and friendly boy, and I love to chat! Seriously, if I see a food bag or a brush in the caretaker's hand, you can bet I'll be meowing up a storm. Despite the rough start, I've managed to turn things around and now have a great life. I'm incredibly grateful for the love and care I've received. I would be over the moon if anyone chose to sponsor me. Your support would mean the world to me!
